Corsendonk Agnus is brewed with pale malts and has a gold blonde colour. It is a full-bodied, blonde, top-fermented beer, refermented and matured in the bottle to obtain a lively, bubbly beer with a herbal bouquet and hoppy aftertaste.
This Tripel style beer is best paired with Mediterranean foods such as pork and also goes great with pungent style cheese such as Gorgonzola and Limburger and sharp style cheeses such as Blue and Cheddar.
Tasting Notes
Corsendonk Abbey Tripel Ale from Du Bocq is an Abbey Tripel style beer, medium in color, is slightly hoppy and has an ABV of 7.5%
Pours a clear golden yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma of Belgian spices and bread. Medium body. Light and smooth bready taste with some light Belgian spices that aren’t over powering. Finishes with a nice lingering light spice aftertaste. Better than expected. Very Enjoyable
