Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavor, especially that Bavarian specialty "Weisswurst' or white sausage.
This Hefeweizen style beer is best paired with German cuisine or salads, fish, and shellfish. It will also pair well with tangy style cheeses such as Brick, Edam and Feta.
Tasting Notes
Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier from Bayerische Weihenstephaner is an German Hefeweizen style beer, medium in color, is slightly hoppy and has an ABV of 5.4%
Weihenstephaner is the world's oldest brewery and if it aint broke don't fix it. This has a little bit of bread feel with the perfect amount of a banana tasting note to provide ideal balance. A lot of Hefeweizen beers can't strike the fine balance, this one does!
