Coolship Bloodbath

This is a fun beer we brewed on Doom Forge Day back in January. To celebrate all things metal, we transformed our coolship into a Kubrick-esque "bloodbath" by filling it with wort brewed with beets. After cooling overnight, we pitched our mixed culture and primary fermented it in a foudre. Following about two months of maturation, we added Ethiopian Banko Taratu coffee, featuring notes of strawberry, blueberry, and lime, from our friends at Figure 8 Coffee Roasters.
