Collaboration with Tonewood Brewing. We had a great time brewing this moreish Pale Mild with our pals from Tonewood Brewing. We mashed in British Golden Promise malted barley with Golden Naked Oats, Crystal, and some flaked barley; hopped it with a solid charge of Bramling Cross; and fermented it with an expressive top cropping British yeast. This one is drinking a touch hoppier than might be traditional for a Mild, but when that hop character is coming from our sweetheart Bramling Cross, that’s just fine. It’s lending aromatic notes of raspberry leaf tea, picking ripe blackberries, and a cup of Irish Breakfast Tea.
