We brewed this barleywine with Corey from 3 Sons when he was up here in NYC October of 2019. We put down barrels to age and gave them plenty of time. We retrieved them from the stacks late last year and racked them for final conditioning in steel and to add the adjuncts. Pours deep dark ruby with thin white foam. Aromas of wood, toffee, and dark fruit in the base beer.
This American Barleywine style beer is best paired with dessert and also goes great with pungent style cheese such as Gorgonzola and Limburger and sharp style cheeses such as Blue and Cheddar.
