A traditional Strong Pale Ale, "Old Speckled Hen' is brewed with Pale and Crystal malt, and is hopped with Target , East Kent Goldings. The ale owes its distinctive character and smooth, dry taste to a unique strain of yeast first used by Morland in 1896.
