FOLEY BROTHERS SKELETON CREW 6/4
Hazy Wild honey color, white foam top settles in fast, thin coverage.High toned big alpha acid style hop bite in the nose. West coast style hop aroma: boozy tangerine, sweet citrus, fresh pine cones, red tropical fruits...pretty dense. Malt sure looks New England style...smells of light golden grains and honey bread...British malts down deep, woody and amber. Smells like "both coast" style. Hybrid aroma. The hop dominated flavor certainly brings me back about 20 years with high alpha bitter hops, pine, pine pine. Tropical fruit punch...not "juicy" but more of a dense, bitter and sweet fruity complexity. Boozy tasting citrus, pineapple, orange peel and lightly malted golden grains with a dash of wild honey pie. The malt is pretty hefty which pushes it out of the NEDIPA realm in back into the classic DIPA. Tangy citrus is pretty hefty in the taste.
