Moortgat Duvel is the classic Belgian strong golden ale. Duvel is distinctive and flowery in character and considered an ideal accompaniment to dinner at either end, a perfect aperitif on one hand or a post-meal delight to sooth the palate. Duvel is unpasteurized and gains much of its treasured flavor from an elaborate sequence of warm and cold fermentation as well as secondary fermentation in the bottle. It is best served by pouring into its own traditional cup-shaped glass, where it will foam with a generous and long lasting head.
