As our friend Yvan De Baets writes, farmhouse ales were "either sour or very bitter." This is the latter -- a bitterly refreshing, eurocentric farmhouse ale produced by step mashing a 100% pilsner grist and hopping heavily with Hallertau Hersbrucker and Tettnang.
