For three centuries England colonized India. Many Englishmen lived there under an atmosphere never assimilated. Yet they never wanted to give up their beer. Back then, it was difficult to produce a beer in Europe that would ship to its destination while maintaining quality. Several months of torrid navigation corrupted quite a few beers... To be able to arrive uncorrupted, artisans prepared a beer with more malt, creating more alcohol, and more hops, providing an antiseptic quality. It matured and conditioned in barrels aboard the ships during the journey towards India. Thus slowly developed this unique style that today enjoys a renewed popularity. We believe we have brewed with rigor a tasty and full beer, with a clear design towards hops, which is added during the manufacturing process in the form of large amounts of fresh flowers. Thus, we get a brew with very pronounced and bitter floral notes in the mouth, along with ripe fruits and resins, with an aromatic explosion of mango and watermelon. The copious amounts of malt give it its round body. You will find this bold brew deceptively easy to drink.
